Set in a not-too-distant future where population is in the decline, men and women see no need to marry or reproduce. Authorities steps in, mandate all singles aged 30 to live in “Single City”. The purpose is simple: find love and reproduce.The penalty of not doing so is harsh, inhumane even. Memories will be altered and partners assigned.
This story follows 4 singles as they begin their time in Single City. Will they fall in love, and find their happily ever after?
SINGLE CITY revolves around the theme of “Love is Hard Work”.
Through this film, we rediscover that despite technological advancements, and the hassle-free lifestyle it brings, at the heart of it, humans beings are social creatures and we need that human touch.
The search for love and a companion for life should not be left up to compatibility ratings, superficial traits, talents or even Fate.
I hope the audience can relate, not only on how love blossom in the most unexpected places and Love is hard work.
